On November 4, 2022, the event "How to promote research and management of rare diseases?" organized by El Mundo and Diario Médico (Unidad Editorial). The event consisted of two discussion tables in which parents of patients, members of rare disease associations and research staff from different institutions discussed the current state of research into rare diseases in Spain, as well as the role that patients and associations play in this area.

The event opened at 10 am and ended at 12:30 pm and was held in the auditorium of the Unidad Editorial headquarters in Madrid (Avenida San Luis, 25).
